答案E First of all we’d like to know something about you,Candidate A, so I’m going to ask you some questions. E How do you like campus life? A I have been studying in university for about three years. I enjoy it very much. It can be regarded as the most wonderful part of my life. I have good teachers who devote themselves to teaching us knowledge. There are interesting, friendly classmates and close friends with whom I can often talk and share my happiness and sadness. The campus activities are so interesting that I often involve myself in them. Campus life will, therefore, pave the way to my successful future. E In what way is college life different from that in high school? A College life is different from that in high school in several ways. Firstly, the most important difference is that most college students have to leave their parents and learn how to live independently. But if you are a high school student, your parents will look after you carefully. For example, we college students should learn how to get along well with all kinds of people in our life without our parents’ advices. Secondly, the main task is different. In high school, we should study hard to pass the exam of entrance to college. But in college, we should do well in both study and other aspects such as the ability of cooperation, conquering difficulties and so on. In general, we college students are no longer little children, we should live independently and try to be excellent in many aspects besides study. E What do you think is the real challenge of studying at college? A Compared with primary schools and high schools, universities and colleges have different tasks which give students a wide space to develop their all-round abilities, not only academic knowledge, but also practical skills. At college, you should have the abilities of cooperation, competition and creativity. These three a-bilities are basic requirement for job hunters in many companies and enterprises. So now we should consider training ourselves to be cooperative, competitive and creative. Only by having these qualities, can a college student have a prosperous future. E What do you think of the food in the college dining hall? A There are seven dining halls in my university. They have their own characters respectively. Some food is very delicious, though it’s not as tasty as the food of the restaurants and my home. Several months before, there was a new dining hall completed. It’s very beautiful and clean. As soon as I go into this dining hall, I’ll be hungry because the food in this dining hall is so tasty; there is much spice food, which is my favorite. E Thank you. Now we’d like to know something about you,Candidate B, so I’m going to ask you some questions. E Where do you like to study, in the dormitory, in the library or in the classroom? Give your reasons, please. B I often study in the library. Firstly, I seldom study in the dormitory, because it’s too noisy in my dormitory. There are six girls living in my dormitory. If I study in my dormitory, I often want to chat with my roommates, find something to eat and so on. I can’t concentrate myself on study. Secondly, the library is very quiet, and there are a lot of students studying in the library, so I can concentrate on study. Besides, in the library, there are a lot of reference books, so it’s very convenient to refer to them when necessary. If I study in the classroom, it’s not as convenient as studying in the library. So, I seldom study in the dormitory or in the classroom, instead, I often study in library. E What do you think of your university library? B Our university library is the biggest college library in Asia. It’s well equipped and very beautiful. It has a huge collection of books and many modern facilities under the supervision of many librarians. It’s made up of many sections, including "Collection and Purchase", "Cataloguing", "Periodicals", etc. It is accessible to all the students of the university, who can borrow as many as twenty books at a time and keep them for up to thirty days. There is an audio-visual room in the library for us to watch videos. We can learn English through watching English movies. There is also a computer room for us to search academic information on line. It’s very quiet in our library. I often study in it. E What kind of activities do you take part in during your free time? B If I’m free from study, I’d like to take part in some sports and social practice. Sports can keep me in good health, and I can relax when I’m swimming or jogging. Social practice is a bridge between my theory and reality. Participation in social practice will benefit me all through my life. From social practice, I can learn more than from my textbooks and contribute my academic knowledge into the solution to the practical problem. E What sort of entertainment are you most interested in? B Entertainment is an important part of my life. I’m interested in physical activities most. Physical activities can keep me fit and develop team spirit. After hours of attentive study I like to have some physical activities like basketball. It’s a good way to relax. However, sometimes I take part in some intellectual activities such as chess. It can provide a temporary escape from my troubles. E Are you a sports enthusiast? What kind of sports do you like most? B Yes, I am a sports enthusiast. When I was a little boy, I was very weak in health. It was easy for me to get a cold. So my parents encouraged me to take part in all kinds of sports. And taking part in sports has become one of my habits. I play all kinds of ball games. The one I like most is playing basketball, because it’s very convenient to play basketball. Even without partners, I can play by myself. I feel very relaxed when I play basketball. E Do you get along with your roommates? B I get along quite well with my roommates. There are six girls sharing a room in my dormitory. We have different personalities and different habits. But we are all considerate, we often help each other. Sometimes we have different opinions on some things, but we know how to solve the problems. For example, if I have problems getting along with roommates, I would ask myself firstly. If it is my fault, I will apologize to them. If it is their fault or just a misunderstanding, I will talk with them on the problems. Now our relations are very good. We always solve problems this way, and the problem can always be easily solved.
