Additionally, there has been a strong emphasis on developing a healthy culture, encouraging people to establish a sense of responsibility for their own health and to adopt healthy lifestyles. Finally, as part of the efforts to improve health literacy, a health literacy expert database was developed, which has been instrumental in the dissemination of official health information. To sum up, China has made steady progress in promoting health literacy, and this trend is expected to continue in the near future.
