答案
With the popularity of electronic products, people tend to read books via electronic products. As is shown in the drawing, a young man, holding a pad in his hands, reads the e-book intently. The paper books were left in a pile for quite a long time, cobwebbed and scattered. The one on the top of the pile, endowed with life, looks at that man, disappointed and sadly. The cartoon illustrates the phenomenon that the quantity of paperbook-reading is on the decrease. Definitely, using electronics to read e-books do have some advantages. Firstly, it is convenient and efficient for users to read e-books regardless of time and place. Secondly, reading e-books is at low cost, for people can read online or download them to their phones or pads with less money. Thirdly, e-books can be produced more quickly than paper books, which enables the reader to learn hot issues faster, thus meeting readers’ desire for knowledge and curiosity in time. Considering the long-term development of book market, I believe, paper books and e-books are equally important in guaranteeing a flourishing book market. We should improve the quality of e-books, and especially make full use of the paper books’ advantage in quality and collectible value.
