Welcome to the Goldfields Tour! We have about a one-hour bus trip through beautiful rolling hills before we reach the first stop on our tour,(83)the picturesque and historic town of Daylesford. When we reach Daylesford, I suggest that we simply stroll around the old town for around thirty minutes to an hour. Daylesford was founded at the time of the first gold rush and is largely unchanged(84)since the boom period of the 1880s. Why don’t you stop at one of the famous bakeries(85)on the main street for some delicious coffee and cakes? Return to the bus by 11:00 a.m., and we will proceed with the rest of the tour. Thank you.
